Glasgow Construction Worker Killed - 15/10/09

A 31-year old construction worker has died following an accident on a building site in Glasgow. Mr Hurly was killed when he was crushed by a steel building frame whilst working on a site in Murano Street. A spokesman from Strathclyde Police said “Around 8:35am Daniel Hurly sustained fatal injuries when he was crushed by the steel building frame which collapsed. Emergency services attended and transferred him to Glasgow Western Infirmary, where sadly Daniel died on arrival.”
